Sophie Koole is a 25 year old singer songwriter based in London and Rotterdam. Her music can be described as soulful pop tunes with jazz influences. The straight forward lyrics that she writes are the centre of her music and touch on relatable themes like insecurities, love, mistakes and growth. 

Embellished with vocal harmonies in her songs, Sophie’s low registered voice is one that stands out. With her soulful timbre, laid back timing and rnb-like vocal runs, she combines traits from soul, jazz, pop and more genres in her songs. A few of her biggest vocal inspirations are Amy Winehouse, Lauryn Hill and Lalah Hathaway. 

Paradise is Sophie Koole’s most recent release. She released the song under the name Sophia Zelan, which has been her artist name for a few years, but she decided not to continue with. With more releases on the way Paradise marks the first step of sharing her own music and art.
